Shanti Project – Interim Deputy Director; supervised and supported program directors and other direct reports; attended to personnel and morale issues; ensured staff and programs satisfied contractual obligations; oversaw preparation for comprehensive City and County Contracts Audit process; kept the executive director informed of the state of programs (staff morale, grant and program accountability, opportunities and challenges, potential threats and liabilities, etc.) and developed recommendations; serve as a thought partner to the Executive Director and provided consultation regarding organizational structure and opportunities; maintained communications with funders and other key stakeholders; led an inclusive search process for a Deputy Director including developing on boarding plan.

Contra Costa Crisis CenterInterim Executive Director. Management and oversight of all operations and programs; assessed agency contract compliance and service delivery; attended to staff morale and internal communications; developed and revised budget for new fiscal year; managed all state and county contracts and renewals; wrote annual appeal letter; prepared all grant reports and submissions; conducted outreach to lapsed funders and cultivated new ones; represented agency on various committees and at county meetings; prepared organization for new executive leadership; supported executive director search process and oriented and supported the on boarding of newly hired executive director.

FacesSF (Formerly Whitney Young Child Development Center). Interim Executive Director. Assessed agency management and infrastructure needs; stabilized and improved the quality of licensed childcare center programs and staffing; built and maintained confidence among board members, City and State funders, and key partners including First Five, Gateway to Quality, Low Income Investment Fund, Department of Children Youth and Their Families, Human Services Agency and others; ensured compliance with licensing regulations and state and city contracts; addressed facility needs; developed budget, reduced expenses by re-allocating resources for greater program effectiveness and efficiency; supported a merger between WYCDC and Florence Crittenton Services (FCS) worked in partnership with FCS’s Interim Executive Director and both Boards of Director’s on all aspects of the merger (due diligence, staff and stakeholder communications, alignment of systems and programs, licensing, legal and contract issues) led process for hiring of permanent Executive Director of the newly merged organization.

Boys and Girls Clubs of North San Mateo County – Interim Chief Executive Officer. Interim management and oversight of six facilities; key areas included assessing agency management and infrastructure; attending to staff morale; leading organizational restructuring; oversight of all operations and programs; budget development and financial oversight; grant writing and funder relations; community outreach and resource development; oversight and fundraising for facilities renovations and improvements; board relations; preparing organization for new executive leadership and on boarding new Executive Director.
